What will you do?
Company seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to help maintain our Payables operation. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Complete proper 3-way match on all inventory purchases.
- Review and approve all vouchers for payment.
- Accurately enter invoices to be paid into the company’s ERP.
- Processes payments requested as needed, including employee expense checks.
- Ensure that all items to be paid follow the company’s approval guidelines.
- Answer vendor inquiries.
- Analyze vendor accounts and makes recommendations as needed.
- Assist in monthly closing process for Accounts Payable operations.
- Assist with special projects, as necessary.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organization skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple on-going assignments.
- Proven organizational, and communication skills
- Associate degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school is a plus.
